Grants up to £800 for schools, teaching the national curriculum, which are based in the UK and Republic of Ireland towards the cost of musical resources.
Please note, they do not fund staffing costs to cover teaching of the national curriculum or peripatetic music lessons and regrettably, cannot accept applications from Music Services.
Their funding schedule is as follows (please note this is a guideline only, exact dates will be provided on their website):
- Applications will open in April for funding offers made in early September
- Applications will open in August for funding offers made at the end of January
- Applications will open in December for funding offers made at the end of April
If your application is successful you will have approximately 2 months to claim the donation (exact dates will be provided at the time of our offer) so if you’re planning an expensive purchase, you need to consider if you will have raised the balance in that time frame. If not, they strongly recommend you wait and apply to a future funding round as they are not able to provide extensions to claim the donation.
They are unable to accept applications on behalf of Trusts/Academies for multiple schools, each school must submit their own application form.
If you have applied for funding in the past and were successful please wait for two years from when the funding was offered before applying again. If your application was unsuccessful, you may apply again after one year.
