The Foundation makes grants to UK registered charities to promote the advancement of education and learning, with a particular – but not exclusive - interest in disseminating knowledge and information about the art and science of architecture.
Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners (RSHP Group) are a world-renowned, London-based international architectural practice known for innovative, sustainable, and people-focused designs across various building types like offices, transport hubs and cultural spaces.
The company has a Charitable Foundation that receives dividends from RSHP Group Limited, which are distributed to registered charities guided by the expressed wishes of the employees of the company and its group. The Charitable Foundation awards grants to promote the advancement of education and learning and dissemination of knowledge for the benefit of the public in relation to the art and science of architecture by the making of grants for:
- Research and training.
- The establishment of collections and drawings, papers, books and works of art.
- The establishment of and maintenance of art galleries, lecture and exhibition facilities, museums, libraries, research centres and similar facilities.
- Promoting the advancement of education and learning and the dissemination of knowledge through teaching research and the making of grants to institutions or individuals, and
- Promoting the welfare, and research into such welfare, of persons who are suffering from mental or physical illness of whatever kind or of old infirm sick or wounded persons or other persons in conditions of need, hardship and distress requiring assistance.
The Foundation doesn’t list grant recipients or provide an indication of typical grant levels in its annual accounts, nor does it have a website. We are therefore unable to specify how many grants are awarded or what size of grants are likely to be made.
If your charity meets the Foundation’s objectives and you’re interested in exploring the possibility of grant support, its trustees can be contacted in writing.
