End of life charity, Marie Curie, has created a £500K research grants scheme, designed to support research into improving palliative and end of life care in the community, including out-of-hours provision.
It has been launched when national health policy is increasingly focused on moving care out of hospital and into the community, and to help more people to receive end of life care at home.
The scheme will fund projects with a value of up to £150,000.
The deadline for submitting an Expression of Interest is 5pm on Friday 17th July 2026.
