The Michael Heller Charitable Foundation

Grants are available to UK registered charities and exempt charities, including universities, for specific projects in the UK and/or overseas that relate to educational, medical and scientific research.

In the past, the Michael Heller Charitable Foundation has provided discretionary grants for projects that benefit academics, medical professionals, researchers, scientists, students and teachers.

The trustees have decided that, for the foreseeable future they will include some significant donations to various universities for research purposes, and in particular medical research.  Previously, grants made have ranged from £2,000 to £100,000, although awards at the upper end of this scale are rare.  They do not fund individuals.

At the time of approving the financial statements, the trustees have a reasonable expectation that the charity has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future.

Further information about the Trust is available on the Charity Commission website.

Applications may be made at any time in writing.
