Now in its 4th year, the Let's Celebrate Towns Contest is a UK-wide national competition and showcase designed to spotlight and support high streets, local businesses and communities.
The competition will rewards 5 winning towns with a £20,000 grant to fund community-led projects or initiatives that boost small businesses and revive town centres.
By entering the competition, towns across the UK have the chance to attend a national awards ceremony in the Houses of Parliament and be one of five towns recognised across these categories:
- High Street Revival
- Backing Local Business
- Protecting Valued Places
- Connected Places
- Community Pride
Applications must be submitted by:
- MPs and local leaders
- Local authorities and town councils
- Community groups and organisations
Eligible towns must have an ONS built-up area population of between 5,000 and 225,000.
The deadline for applications is 23:59 on Sunday 25th October 2026.
