Grants of up to £3,000 are available to support new physical activity projects that enable people with Parkinson’s across the UK to stay active and increase their levels of physical activity.
The aims of the programme are to:
- Help people with Parkinson’s become and stay active, and
- Help people with Parkinson’s who are already active to significantly increase their levels of physical activity.
Parkinson's UK will expect the following outcomes from any grant it awards:
- People with Parkinson’s become and stay active or significantly increase their levels of activity if they are already active.
- More physical activity provision for everyone with Parkinson’s across the UK, and
- Improved social wellbeing in people with Parkinson’s as a result of attending the project.
Applicants must:
- Be based in the UK.
- Have a business or community bank account as funds cannot be transferred into a personal account.
- Provide evidence of your articles of association and constitution or other relevant governing documents (this doesn’t apply to organisations that are set up for profit).

Parkinson UK recommends applicants follow a 4-stage application process, namely:

- Further information, guidance and an application form is available on the Parkinson’s UK website.
Parkinson’s UK are also running a new pilot grants programme to help more marginalised communities to deliver physical activity sessions for people living with Parkinson's. Further information about the pilot grants programmes is available online.
