This Trust provides grants of up to £500 to individuals (charitable organisations are no longer funded) living in the UK who are:
- creative practitioners
- health and social care practitioners
- and individuals with health and social care needs
who need a grant to pursue creative activity.
Applicants must live or work in:
- Bath and North East Somerset
- North Somerset
- Bristol
- South Gloucestershire
- South West
- South East Wales
Grants can be used for:
- essential materials, equipment and/or specialist software
- short-term venue hire, such as workshop or exhibition space
- mentoring and/or specialist expertise (such as technicians or others whose expertise is necessary for the delivery of a project).
The next application deadlines are
- 5pm on Wednesday 13 May 2026 for the Trust’s meeting on Wednesday 3 June 2026
- 5pm on Wednesday 19 August 2026 for the Trust’s meeting on Wednesday 3 September 2026.

Trustees Wanted: The Gane Trust is currently seeking to recruit up to three new Board members and is particularly interested to hear from people with experience in the Arts or Social Care with expertise and experience in the following areas:
