Grants of up to £60,000 are available for eligible UK museums and public collections to acquire existing works by women artists, with a particular focus on those whose work addresses social and political issues, history, and cultural differences in contemporary society.
Applications are open to public museums, galleries, historic houses, libraries, and archives based anywhere in the UK that are open for at least half the week for at least six months of the year, fully accredited through the Arts Council Accreditation Scheme or national equivalents, and committed to increasing public access to their collections in alignment with Art Fund’s charitable objectives.
The deadline for applications is Friday 15 January 2027.
