The Cooke Charitable Trust

The Cooke Charitable Trust is a family-based grant-making charity with its principal office in Launceston, Cornwall.  It awards a limited number of grants to UK registered charities working in the UK and/or overseas in the fields of education, the relief of people in need due to poverty or war and civil conflict.

In future years the trustees aim to increase the amount of donations to charity while exploring further opportunities for investment.

The Trust’s charitable objectives are to award grants for:

  • The advancement and support of primary education in Great Britain
  • The relief of poverty anywhere in the world, including - but not limited to - those in circumstances of extreme need by reason of war or civil conflict, and
  • Such other charities or charitable purposes as the trustees shall in their absolute discretion think fit.

Please note that the Trust does not have a website.  Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.

To enquire about the prospect of securing grant support, please write to the Trust.
