Bristol Youth and Play Support Programme

This is a Bristol City Council grant scheme administered by Quartet Community Foundation.

It offers core, project and equipment grants of up to £5,000 (or up to £10,000 for partnership projects) are available to charitable organisations, including Community Interest Companies, that  are providing new or existing projects for local children and young people in Bristol aged 8-19, or up to 25 years old for young children and adults with a learning difficulty.

The programme is designed to support projects that help children and young people to:

  • be empowered to improve their social, emotional and physical health
  • develop and learn appropriate life skills
  • have access to blended play offers that use different approaches and methods
  • have access to safe spaces; and/or
  • have opportunities to build positive trusting relationships with peers and adults.

They recognise that some activities are better delivered when two or more organisations work together. Therefore, they will also consider awarding grants up to £10,000 for partnerships of two or more organisations, provided both meet the eligibility criteria.  They also expect to see a proportionate split of funding between each partner.

Approximately 15 grants are expected to be awarded in this round.  The deadline for applications is 10am on Tuesday 26 May 2026.

Further information, including details about how to apply, is available on the Quartet Community Foundation website.
