Bath Women’s Fund is a giving circle. Their members pool their monthly donations and, once a year, give their gathered funds to local groups as a grant.
Like other giving circles, part of their role is to encourage women to get involved with philanthropy. Members are involved in the grant making process: they select the theme, review applications, learn about the organisations applying, provide mentoring support to applicants, and vote on who receives the main grant.
Their grant making theme for 2026 (voted for by their members) is:
'Meeting the needs of families who are most impacted by the increased cost of living.' eg organisations providing food, warmth, benefits advice and preventing homelessness.
If you are a charitable organisation working in Bath and North East Somerset and you are meeting the needs of families who are most impacted by the increased cost of living, you are invited to apply for £15,000.
The first step in our process is to complete an Expression of Interest form and submit it by 5pm on Monday 23 February. Please read their Guidance for Applicants document for the full details of our process, the criteria they will use to make decisions, and the link to the Expression of Interest form.
