The Arnold Clark Community Fund

Community Support grants of up to £1,000 are available to registered charities and not-for-profit organisations supporting people and communities that are addressing community issues in areas in which Arnold Clark Automobiles has a presence in England, Scotland and Wales. 

Arnold Clark is widely considered to be Europe's largest independent, family-run car company with over 200 car dealerships in England, Scotland and Wales, representing over 25 different manufacturers.  The nearest one is in Bristol.

The Arnold Clark Community Fund: Driving Our Communities Forward provides small grants of up to £1,000 for UK registered charities and other voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations for projects in areas in England, Scotland and Wales where Arnold Clark Automobiles has a presence.  A location finder is available on the Arnold Clark website.  Please note that the Company gives priority to charities, community groups and social enterprises that are within a 50-mile radius of an Arnold Clark site (this includes Bath and North East Somerset).

The following funding and support is currently available:

Our Communities Support – grants of up to £1,000 are available for projects embedded in the communities in which Arnold Clark operates and is available to organisations that provide services widely accessible to those within Arnold Clark local communities, addressing the needs of those living within them. Projects must address one or more of the following categories:

  • Animal welfare
  • Arts and culture
  • Community development
  • Disability
  • Education
  • Recreation
  • Relief support, and/or
  • Mental health support

Applications may be made at any time, but please note that the funder may close the programme if it becomes over-subscribed.  Early application is therefore advised.
