Grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 are available to UK registered charities for a range of charitable causes.
Gloucestershire-based charity, the Adint Charitable Trust is a discretionary grant-making Trust with the ability to award to a wide range of registered charities and causes across the UK. However, while not exclusively the case, the charity tends to awards grants to national charities working in the areas of health and medical causes.
Charities working in the areas of disability and health are regularly supported, particularly those working in a specific medical field, such as Cystic Fibrosis and Epilepsy. Hospitals and hospices are also frequently funded.
To be eligible to apply, charities should be registered with a charity number and have a bank account in the name of their charity.
Grants made are usually for either £5,000, £10,000, £15,000 or £20,000.
The Trustees have a reasonable expectation that the Charity has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future and award around £300,000 of grants per annum.
Unfortunately, funding is not available for local branches of national charities.
Please note that the Trust does not have a website. Further information is, however, available on the Charity Commission website.
Applications can be submitted at any time to the Trust by UK registered charities and are considered at the regular meetings of the trustees. Applications should be in writing and incorporate full details of the charity for which funding is requested. No acknowledgements will be sent out to unsuccessful applicants.
