Food safety training

Use this page to find information on available food safety training.

Training is a key factor in the achievement of high hygiene standards and the reduction of food poisoning.

Services we provide

We provide an accredited course covering the basic principles of food allergy management: Identifying and Controlling Allergy Risks (RSPH Level 2). Email us at public_protection@bathnes.gov.uk to find out about additional allergy training on request (for groups up to 6).

Services with other providers

Food Safety and Hygiene courses in English (Level 2 and above)

These providers run courses leading to Level 2 and 3 Food Hygiene Certificates from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH), which are recognised qualifications at a local and national level.
