All contractors who work on the public highway must have provided evidence of a current third party Public Liability Insurance cover to a minimum value of £5,000,000 and current accreditations complying with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA).
Below is a list of contractors who hold the appropriate NRSWA Accreditation and Public Liability Insurance required by us and are permitted to undertake excavation works on the public highway. This is not a list of approved contractors and is offered for guidance only.
Should you wish to use an alternative contractor not on this list we will require them to submit evidence of the required Public Liability insurance and NRSWA accreditations
