Policy for direct payments
The Council and the ICB want to make it as easy as possible for people to exercise choice and control over their lives, including their care and support needs, and recognise that direct payments can be an important part of this. The Council and ICB want to ensure that people understand what direct payments are, the freedoms and choices that direct payments bring and the responsibilities that go with them. We also want to make sure the application process is as easy as possible.
