E-cargo Bath scheme
The purpose of processing
We want to help promote the use of e-cargo courier services in Bath to help reduce the number of fossil-fuelled vehicles in the city contributing to air pollution, noise and congestion. The scheme offers businesses in Bath free trials with two approved e-cargo bike couriers in the city, and longer, subsidised trials if the initial trial is successful. The grant subsidy is paid direct to the courier fulfilling the trial.
This scheme will help us meet the air quality targets set for us by the government, mitigate the impact of the Clean Air Zone and city centre security measures, and contribute towards tackling the climate emergency.
