We are seeking feedback on proposals to introduce Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) enforcement in two locations in Bath, following the decision to make three linked through-traffic restriction trials in Winifred’s Lane, Gay Street and Catharine Place permanent.

ANPR cameras help to enforce offences and encourage compliance with traffic measures, making our roads safer. This consultation survey has been provided to allow you to share your views on the introduction of ANPR enforcement at the no-right turn at the Cavendish Road/Sion Hill junction and the mandatory left-hand turn from Upper Gay Street into George Street.

We seek your specific feedback on the proposal, and how it will directly affect you. We will engage with you, or raise your comments and potentially your details, within the Council, to the extent that it is required to meet the purposes of the survey.
