Climate and Nature Staff Survey (No Prize Draw) Privacy Notice

The purpose of processing

The council is surveying staff for their views on climate & nature within the context of their role at the council. This form has been provided to allow you to engage in that survey and, whilst we do not require personal data for the purpose of the survey, you may have inadvertently included some in the comments section.

Your comments will be considered when this survey is reviewed by the council, however we will remove personal data from those comments at the point we receive and review them where practicable.

Personal data

We do not seek any personal data as part of this consultation, but you may have inadvertently provided some, as such we are unable to say what you may have provided.

How is it used?

Any personal data that has been submitted will be received by the team leading the consultation and, upon review, they will remove any personal data that you submit where practicable. If the personal data constitutes an integral element, it may be anonymised or pseudonymised by changing details to such an extent that you will be unidentifiable, but the comments will still serve their purpose.

If you are raising a specific point, and the team considers it requires further investigation that may or may not be related to the consultation, such as a complaint or security matter, it will be transferred to the relevant department for further investigation.

How long is the personal data retained by the Council?

Personal data will only be retained for as long as it is needed for the purpose specified above.
