To join, applicants must pass a rigorous vetting process. Members must:
have been trading for at least six months

Additional checks apply to businesses in the care and food sectors to ensure compliance with relevant standards.
In Bath and North East Somerset, sole traders are eligible for a reduced annual membership fee.
Once approved, members are listed on the official Buy With Confidence website and may display the Trading Standards Approved logo, highlighting their commitment to fair and trustworthy trading.
