If you're looking for a quiet and simple ceremony, set within a grand historic building, our Register Office at the Guildhall in Bath is the ideal place.
Guildhall, Bath
The iconic Guildhall, a magnificent Grade 1 Listed Georgian and Victorian building in the heart of Bath, houses our Bath Register Office.
The Guildhall is an impressive setting for a ceremony, with Georgian interiors and grand staircases creating an elegant wedding scene. A short stroll away is the beautifully kept Parade Gardens which overlook the River Avon and Pulteney Bridge, and the Roman Baths are just as close too, marking the union of two people in picture perfect harmony.
For couples seeking a small ceremony, our Register Office rooms provide an affordable and dignified option. The ceremony will take place in a tidy office environment rather than a ceremonial room. The ceremony is for the couple and two witnesses only, and the content of the ceremony is simple and straightforward yet meaningful.
Other options for a more intimate ceremony
If you were thinking of booking our Register Office, you might also consider a ceremony in one of the other more intimate rooms in the Guildhall. These ceremonies are for four guests (two of whom will act as your witnesses.) You may exchange personal vows and rings if you wish, but music and readings cannot be included. Find out below what's on offer and how to book.
The Jane Austen Room
This elegant room, named after one of Bath's most famous residents, is decorated in a Regency style, with lovely period details.

Alternatively, you can call us on 01225 477234 during office hours.
