NOTICE is given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will introduce the following variations to restrictions in South West Outer Bath Area:-
Introduce No Parking At Any Time in lengths of Ambleside Road, Monksdale Road, Southdown Road, Sladebrook Road, Upper Bloomfield Road, Bloomfield Drive, Monksdale Road, Poplar Close, Roundhill Grove, Mount Road, Southdown Road, Bellotts Road, Moorfields Road, Bloomfield Park, The Oval, Kelston View, Whimster Court, Shaws Way, Watery Lane, East Close, Hatfield Road, Clarks Way, Breachwood View, Middlewood Close, Orchid Drive, Monksdale Road, Bath.
Introduce a Disabled Bay in lengths of Garrick Road, Moorland Road, Dorset Close and Highland Road, Bath.
Introduce No Stopping Between Mon-Fri 8am-9.30am and 2.30pm-4pm on School Keep Clear markings in lengths of Lymore Terrace and Lymore Avenue, Bath.
Introduce Zone 28 Permit Holder Only parking operating 8am – 6pm in lengths of Oldfield Road and Bellotts Road, Bath.
Proposed removal of a section of No Parking At Any Time in lengths of Moorfields Drive, Bath.
Proposed extension of Resident Parking Zone 28 to cover Claude Terrace and 35 Bloomfield Avenue, Bath.
Introduce dual use Zone 28 Permit Holder / 3 Hour Limited Waiting, operating 8am – 6pm in lengths of Monksdale Road and Beckhampton Road, Bath.
Extension of No Parking Between 8am – 6pm in lengths of Bloomfield Avenue, Bath.
The order will come into operation on 1st August 2025. Full details of the proposal together with a map and a Statement of the Council’s Reasons for making the order may be inspected at the One Stop Shops at Manvers Street, Bath, The Hollies, High Street, Midsomer Norton and at the Civic Centre, Market Walk, Keynsham during normal office hours. Any person who desires to question the validity of, or any provision contained in the order on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or on the grounds that any of the relevant requirements of that Act has not been complied with in relation to the order, may within six weeks after the date on which the order was made, apply to the High Court for this purpose.
