Waste strategy
The Waste Strategy 'Towards Zero Waste 2020' was agreed by Council on 14th July 2005. An updated review of the strategy and Action plan was produced in 2014. To find out more go to Waste Strategy where you will find a PDF copy together with subsequent updates.
West of England (WEP) Joint Waste Strategy
The West of England is a partnership between Bath & North East Somerset, Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire Councils to find alternatives to sending waste to landfill. The West of England Joint Waste Core Strategy (JWCS) has been adopted and came into effect on 25 March 2011
