Temporary suspension of fridge and freezer acceptance
We are currently unable to accept fridges and freezers at any of our Household Recycling Centres or via our large item collection service.
This is due to a UK-wide issue affecting fridge and freezer recycling facilities, which are experiencing reduced capacity and significant delays in processing appliances.
We are working closely with our waste management partners to restore this service as soon as possible.
If you need to dispose of a fridge or freezer, please use a retailer take-back service when buying new, keep in storage or look to alternate collector such as AO.
