  • 27 December
  • 28 December (Bank Holiday)

The Keynsham Reuse Shop is closed from 21 December 2026 to 5 January 2027. We cannot accept items while the shop is closed.

Recycling reminders for festive waste

Wrapping paper

We can only recycle plain brown wrapping paper. Most wrapping paper, even when labelled recyclable, contains additives such as glitter or foil which cannot be recycled.

We now collect card and paper, including brown wrapping paper, in your blue bag.

Christmas tree recycling

These are available, for a charity donation, for households in the following postcodes: BA1, BA2, BA3, BA15, BS31, BS39 and BS40.

Recycle your tree

Take your tree to one of our recycling centres for composting. You will need to make an appointment if you're visiting Bath or Midsomer Norton centres.

New plastic and cans container coming in 2027

Following a successful trial, we’ll be delivering a new red bag for plastic and cans to all households with a kerbside collection in early 2027. The bags are easier to store than boxes and provide more capacity to help make recycling even easier.

Find out more about the red recycling bag.
