The first public consultation on the updated masterplan design updates in Round 2 took place in November 2017. As a result of this consultation and feedback, we updated the design and restoration plan for Sydney Gardens in April 2018. View the PDF of these latest design plans here.
There are currently 2 ways that you can see the plans and comment:
- a public exhibition in Sydney Gardens on Sunday 22nd April 2018 from 2pm - 5pm (as part of the Friends of Sydney Gardens Community Day).
- a public exhibition in Bath Central Library (BA1 5AN) from Monday 23rd April to Monday 7th May during Library opening hours.
If you have any questions or comments, then please contact Susan Palmer, Sydney Gardens Community Ranger.
Past Public Consultations
The Sydney Gardens masterplan design public consultation opened on Saturday the 25th of November at the Gardener's Lodge in Sydney Gardens, Bath. The project Landscape Architects LDA Design were there, along with the project team, to answer questions and discuss plans. Over 75 people came to see the plans. We also opened the historic Gents toilet for people to look inside and lots of vistors of all ages explored our recently recreated historic Labyrinth, which has been mown into the overgrown Bowls Club Lawn, and is now open for the public to enjoy.
