The Eloise and Katie Memorial Trust

The Eloise and Katie Memorial Trust is a small London-based grant-making charity that was founded in 2003 in memory of Eloise and Katie Plunkett, two young sisters who both died of cancer.

The Trust funds small projects in England and Scotland that make a real difference to the lives of young people and also supports causes which are important to the Plunkett family - particularly cancer and Parkinson's Disease.

Donations are made to charitable and other organisations in England and Scotland with the emphasis on relatively small projects that make a difference.  Bursaries are also provided to individuals.

The Trust’s grant-making priorities are to:

Make a difference to the lives of children and young people.

These grants focus on small projects where a relatively modest sum can make a significant difference - particularly in the areas of education, disability, recreation, music and sport.  They prefer to support specific projects and, where possible, visit organisations as part of their due diligence, and

Research areas of medicine, particularly cancer and Parkinson’s disease, or provide support for patients during diagnosis and treatment.

These are usually made to larger organisations and have included University College London Hospital (UCLH) Radiotherapy Fund, Macmillan Cancer Support Scotland, Ataxia UK and the Functional Neurotherapy Fund at Southmead Hospital, Bristol.

Bursaries have been previously provided for music, drama and riding tuition.

Further information, guidance and an online application form is available on the Trust’s website.  Please note that, since the Trust introduced an online application form, its grant-making has become significantly more competitive.

Applications may be made at any time.
