Child Poverty, Social Impact Funding and Individual Funding

The 7stars Foundation is a registered charity that supports the most challenged young people in the United Kingdom.  The Foundation aims to relieve the needs and suffering of children aged 18 years old and under, in particular those who face challenges caused by:

  • Abuse
  • Addiction
  • Child Carers for sick and/or disabled adults, and
  • Homelessness

The Foundation offers grant funding across the following 5 strands:

Project Grants of up to £5,000 to cover the costs of projects that respond to one or more of the funding priorities of the 7stars Foundation.

Grants for Individuals of up to £500 are available for individuals represented by a safeguarding, legal, social or outreach referee.

Social Impact Grants of up to £10,000 (£5,000 per year over 2 years) for UK charities tackling key societal issues affecting young people.  The theme for this round is Anti-Racism and Online Abuse.

Child Poverty Grants - 2-year grants of £60,000 (£30,000 per year) dedicated to supporting UK charities committed to ending child poverty.  These long-term, unrestricted awards give organisations the freedom to act strategically – addressing the many interconnected factors which trap children in poverty, rather than being limited to a single project.  One charity partner is selected each year.

Shine Bright Long-Term Funding - 2-year grants totalling £60,000 (£30,000 per year) for registered UK charities delivering bold and innovative ideas that go beyond short-term fixes, targeting the underlying causes of issues facing vulnerable children.  The awards are unrestricted, they can be used for any purpose that supports your organisation, and

Apprenticeships - fully funded apprenticeships (up to Level 4) for registered UK charities and other organisations supporting vulnerable young people.

The current application deadline for Child Poverty grants, Social Impact grants and grants to individuals is Monday 13 July 2026.  Applicants are expected to be notified by the end of September/beginning of October 2026.

Further information, guidance and an online application form is available on the Foundation’s website.
