1. The Village Design Statement Consultation

Priston Parish Council has submitted a Village Design Statement (VDS) to Bath and North East Somerset Council for consideration as a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD).

The VDS was prepared following extensive consultation within the Parish, building upon Character Assessment work that supported the preparation of the B&NES Placemaking Plan. A further consultation is required to be carried out by the Local Planning Authority, before the draft SPD can be considered for adoption.

The consultation will commence on 18th June 2018 and responses must be received no later than 5pm on 16th July 2018.

We would welcome receiving your views on the draft SPD between 18thJune and 16th July 2018.

2. How to make comments

Please use the comments form listed above and send to:

Following the public consultation, all contributions will be scrutinised and the SPD amended accordingly. It will then require formal approval and adoption by the Council.

A Consultation Statement will also be produced to outline key themes emerging from comments received during the consultation period. No personal information will be published in this Consultation Statement and comments received will be handled in accordance with the Councils Privacy Notice and Planning Privacy Notice
