Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Ham Lane, Paulton from a point outside 25 Alexandra Terrace extending for 10 metres in both directions. Northend, Batheaston, Bath

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Northend, Batheaston, Bath from a point outside 34 Northend extending north to a point outside 40 Northend. Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a road closure in that length of Lower Road, Hinton Blewett from a point outside 18 Lower Road extending north east to a point outside The Old Rectory. (26-043C) (A367 WELLSWAY, BEAR FLAT, BATH) (20 M.P.H. SPEED LIMIT) (BUS LANES) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council has made an order under provisions contained in the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984, the effect of which will be that it is prohibited to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 20 miles in lengths of the A367 Wellsway and to introduce a bus lane operating between 07:00 and 10:00 Monday – Friday on Bloomfield Road and A367 Wellsway.

Details

Bath and North East Somerset council as highway authority is responsible for the concrete slabs. They have reached the end of their working life. As a result, the cellars and vaults are at risk of failing due to overloading and movement of the slabs above increasing peak pressures beyond the capacity of the historic arches of the cellars and vaults.
