Please use this form to report a missed recycling collection (green box, blue bag or food waste).

We define a missed recycling collection as where the council has failed to collect on the correct collection day and where:

1. The items to be recycled are in a suitable box or container (e.g. the free Council-issued green box, blue bag or food waste container) .
2. The recycling was out by 7am on the day of the collection.
3. The recycling was on the front edge of the property or an assisted collection had been arranged.
4. The waste is “everyday household recycling”.

Missed recycling collections must be reported by 5:30 pm on the working day following the date the collection was due. So, as an example, if your pick-up is due on a Monday, you must report it by 5:30pm Tuesday to ensure collection by the end of Wednesday. Where the collection is not reported by this time we will not return until the next scheduled collection.

If you have not been able to report it by this time please let us know anyway as we can use this information to improve the service over time.
