Bath & North East Somerset Council Elections

Thursday 2 May 2019

Local government elections are traditionally held on the first Thursday in May every four years. The last local government election was held on Thursday 7 May 2015.

In Bath and North East Somerset there are currently 37 wards, represented by 65 councillors, who are elected for a four-year term.

Following a boundary review conducted by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England, the number of wards has been reduced from 37 to 33, and the number of councillors from 65 to 59. The new boundaries will come into force at the next local government election, which will take place on Thursday 2 May 2019.
