(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE BY VEHICLES) ORDER 2022

Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order to the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a no right turn restriction / a no left turn restriction / lane closure and to suspend all parking to vehicles in that length of roads listed below.  

• No Right Turn Restriction: Traveling eastbound on the A4 Upper Bristol Road, no right turn onto A3604 Windsor Bridge Road.  
• No Left Turn Restriction: Travelling westbound on the A4 Upper Bristol Road, no left turn onto A3604 Windsor Bridge Road.
• Lane Closure: The centre lane of Windsor Bridge Road to be closed for the entire duration of the works. The northbound lane will be closed leaving the southbound lane open. Then southbound lane will be closed leaving the northbound lane open.
• Parking Suspension: The entire length of Windsor Bridge Road.

These works will be carried out in two phases.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road for essential bridge joint repairs by Bath and North East Somerset Council on the 25^th April 2022 for a maximum period of 6 weeks. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for FOUR WEEKS.
