The Connect 5 training programme is an accessible, evidenced based course that is relevant to everyone who works or meets with the public. It provides participants with skills and competencies that build confidence in having conversations about mental health and wellbeing. It presents tools to empower others to take proactive steps to build resilience and look after themselves. We Need to Talk About Suicide
We need to talk about suicide is a brief e-learning module produced by Health Education England and Public Health England. It aims to provide support for volunteers and health care professionals, enabling them to recognise early warning signs of suicide, support patients and their families, as well as offering additional health services in this time of need.
60 – 90 min course with films, questions and best practice information
Suicide Let’s Talk - produced by Zero Suicide Alliance & Mersey Care NHS Foundation Trust. 20 – 30 min module introducing key ideas re talking to someone with suicidal thoughts and helping others to keep safe.
Continuing Professional Development at Bath College – Mental Health
Bath College offers a range of distant learning courses providing Level 2 Certification. Courses include:-

After an initial induction, you study online by distance learning with support from a specialist tutor. The courses are at no cost subject to eligibility.
