Senior Practitioner

As a Senior Practitioner you will play an essential role in modelling good practice to all other front line workers within our Service. You will be undertaking more complex cases and will be key in working with other agencies.

If you are an experienced practitioner who wants recognition for your skills we want to hear from you. We are particularly interested to hear from social workers who want to work in the Court and child protection arena.

Senior practitioners have a protected caseload to enable them to concentrate on particular areas of practice, project work, training, and mentoring less experienced practitioners.

We offer excellent supervision, high quality training advice and guidance for career development and succession planning.   Senior practitioners will have developed specialist skills and knowledge in responding to: child sexual exploitation, harmful sexual behaviour, child permanency reports, permanency planning, delivering training, parenting assessments and co-working with less experienced staff.
