Do not attempt to drive through flood waters. A third of flood-related deaths in the UK involve people drowning in their cars.
Who to contact about different types of flooding
|Blocked highway gullies and drains||Report highway flooding and blocked gullies or drains to the Council via Council Connect. Council Connect provide a specific online form to report highway flooding and blocked gullies. Please note the Council does not provide a sandbag service. Read more about our sandbag policy|
|Burst water main||

Wessex Water (0345 600 4 600) mains supply in Bath area.

Watercourses are split into two categories: Main Rivers and Ordinary Watercourses. See the types of flooding page for an explanation.
For Main River flooding

For Ordinary Watercourse flooding

Internal property flooding
If you have been flooded, it's important the Council knows as we may need to carry out a formal investigation. If you or your community need to report a flooding incident that has led to property flooding please fill in a Property Flooding Report Form and email to the Drainage and Flooding team.
