An important decision and positive news

We made a huge step forward on Tuesday with our plans to tackle air pollution in Bath, with cabinet backing plans to introduce a Class C Clean Air Zone in the city.

We believe we have struck the right balance by exempting cars but charging higher emission buses, coaches HGV’s, LGV’s/vans, private hire vehicles and taxi’s. Our proposals will now go to the government and we’ll be asking...[read more]

Our city in the spotlight

Last Friday I was lucky enough to catch up with the teams taking part in the Fed Cup Tennis fans came from far and wide to see the world’s top women players and our thanks must go to Bath University and the LTA for hosting the first Fed Cup matches to be held in the UK for 26 years.
