Bath Park & Ride - Tackling congestion in Bath
Latest News

On Tuesday 22 May the Olympic Torch will be passing through Bath.  Lansdown Park & Ride will operate to and from Queen Square instead of Milsom Street for the whole day and all Park & Ride services are likely to be disrupted between 3.30pm and 5.00pm as the Torch passes through Bath.

The University Park & Ride service operated for the last time on Saturday 29th October 2011. You can still park at the University on Saturdays (£2 pay and display) and catch the frequent 18 or U18 services into the city centre. For more information about parking at the University, please see the University web site and for more information about the 18 and U18 services, please contact First (18) or Wessex Connect (U18).

Tackling congestion in Bath

Park and Ride is the easiest way to get into Bath by car. There are three Park and Ride sites located at the edges of Bath, at Newbridge, Lansdown and Odd Down. There are regular bus services from these sites to the city centre and from Odd Down there is a regular bus service to the Royal United Hospital. It's easy - just park at the site and use the bus to get to your destination. Park for free, pay on the bus.

Park and Ride makes a lot of sense: it's easy to use; easy on your pocket; easy on the environment and helps tackle congestion in Bath.

These pages offer comprehensive information on the Council's Park & Ride services including service information, maps, fares, downloads and frequently asked questions.

Disabled Access

The Park & Ride buses have low floors, designed to be accessible for wheel chair users.

Convenient and secure locations are available on the buses to accomodate disabled passengers.

Push Chairs and Child Buggies

The buses are also easily accessible for child buggies and push chairs, with space on board for one buggy or push chair so there’s no need to fold it up.
