* Important Parking Notice *

From Monday 12 April 2011 there will be free car parking spaces available in Keynsham.

·     ·         The picnic area site on Keynsham Road (A4175) just north of the Railway Station.

This car park has recently had the surface improved, re-using surfacing removed from the A4 (the cost of levelling and rolling was met by the supermarket development company). 

 

There is also an additional area of free parking at the rear of Station Road car park.

 

Alternative long stay car parks are available at: Bath Hill East, Fox and Hounds, The Labbotts, and Station Road. Alternative short stay car parks include: Ashton Way, Ashton Way East and the Civic Centre.

There are a number of car parks throughout the district with various prices according to the length of stay.  Please refer to the appropriate section to plan your journey before leaving home.

Please also note that there are free car parks for public use in: Batheaston, Timsbury (Wellow), Paulton, Peasedown St John and Saltford, which we do not have maps available for. 

Pay & Display Car Parks

When using the Pay and Display car parks, please note the following:

  • You must park entirely within a bay
  • Don't overstay - leaving your car for longer than the duration of the ticket may result in a Penalty Charge Notice being issued.
  • You must always display the ticket in the windscreen or on the dashboard of your vehicle
  • Camper Van style vehicles are not permitted to park in car parks. They can however park at the Riverside Coach Park
Credit Card Facilities

Pay and Display machines in certain car parks in Bath have been replaced with new METRIC ACCENT machines which will accept payments with Credit Cards.  The machines do not accept notes or provide change.

Blue Badge Holders
  • Please Note: With the exception of the bays at the entrance to Charlotte Street car park  parking charges now apply to blue badge holders in ALL Pay & Display and  Pay on Foot car parks IN BATH ONLY with the exception of the Sports & Leisure Centre Car park in North Parade. 
  • The tariff boards in each car park indicate the charges that apply.
