Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender history month (LGBT history month) is celebrated each year in February.  It is an opportunity for all of us to learn more about the histories of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people in the UK.

21st February – Stuart Milk Global LGBT+ Rights and the Power of Your StoryAn evening with internationally renowned LGBT rights campaigner and nephew of civil rights activist Harvey Milk. 6th February, 12 noonCelebrating Best Practice: Towards an LGBTQ+ Inclusive Curriculum - Dr Gale (Birmingham University) shares top tips on creating a teaching environment which all students - regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation - can thrive. 15th February, 2:30pm How Can I Help? The 101 Guide to Being an LGBTQ+ Ally - Dominic Arnall (Stonewall Head of Projects and Programmes) gives non-LGBTQ+ individuals the opportunity to explore what it means to be an ally. Please email Ceri Jenkins (c.jenkins2@bathspa.ac.uk) for further information
