Equality Mapping is a national requirement that has come out of the Equality Framework for Local Government.

Equality mapping involves collecting information already available both nationally and locally and putting this into easily understandable tables. This is done in order to gain a clearer understanding of the local area and the diverse communities, and their subsequent needs that lie within Bath and North East Somerset.
