The majority of electors in Bath and North East Somerset vote in person at their local polling station. It is a straightforward process and a member of staff will always help if you are not sure what to do.
When you have registered to vote, a poll card will be sent to you a few weeks before the election. You do not need the poll card to vote; this is simply a note to tell you where your polling station is and when the polling station will be open. However, it will help the staff in the polling station if you do take it with you, and it will make the process quicker.
If you do not receive your poll card you should contact Electoral Services as a matter of urgency.
Polling stations are open from 7am to 10pm on the day of the election/referendum.
