Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to vehicles and suspend parking in the following lengths of road:
Phase 1: Road Closures, Contraflow System & 3 Way Traffic Lights to Broadmead Roundabout
Phase 2: Road Closures, Contraflow System & 3 Way Traffic Lights to Broadmead Roundabout
Phase 3: Road Closures, Contraflow System & 3 Way Traffic Lights to Broadmead Roundabout
This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to facilitate carriageway resurfacing by Bath and North East Somerset Council and will be operative on 18th September 2017 for a maximum period of six months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be 21 nights (non-consecutive) between 7:00pm and 07:00am.
Phases 1 & 3: A4 Keynsham Bypass Contraflow System. A4 Bath Road, Pixash Lane, Ashmead Road.
Phase 2: B3116 Bath Road, B3116 Bath Hill, Temple Street, Rock Road, Ashton Way, Charlton Road, B3116 High Street, A4175 Bristol Road, A4175 Durley Hill, A4 Hicks Gate Roundabout, A4 Keynsham Bypass, A4 Bath Road, Pixash Lane, Ashmead Road.
