Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit pedestrians in Footpath BA19/14, Nr Withyditch Lane, Dunkerton, Bath from a point commencing from the entrance to Splott Farm, OS start points of the closure 370095, 158445 heading in a southerly direction for a distance of approximately 150 metres to OS end points 370090, 158593.

 

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath to facilitate sewer works by Wessex Water and will be operative from 8th January 2018 for a maximum period of 2 months. The road will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works. This is anticipated to be for a period of 7 weeks.

 

ALTERNATIVE ROUTE

 

The OS points of all sides of the diversion  ( 370095, 158445 – 370127, 158460 – 370186, 158454 – 370090, 158593) a distance of approximately 250 metres and vice versa
