Notice is given that Bath and North East Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to temporarily introduce a footpath closure in that length of footpath BA27/13:


Phase 1 - Donnington Walk FP, from its junction with Queens Road, to its junction with Barnard Walk FP.


Phase 2 – Donnington Walk FP, from its junction with Barnard Walk FP to its junction with Chepstow Walk FP.


Phase 3 – Chepstow Walk FP, from its junction with Donnington Walk FP, to its junction with Ludlow Close FP.

This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the footpath consequent upon footpath widening works to enable the segregated and shared footpath /cycle way by Bath and North East Somerset Council and will be operative from the 5th February 2018 for a maximum period of three months. The footpath will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and may not be effected for the whole of the period but only for so long as is necessary to execute the works.  This is anticipated to be for six weeks.


Alternative route: 


Phase 1 – Queens Road and Barnard Walk.


Phase 2 – Tintagel Court footpath.


Phase 3 – Ludlow Close, Barnard Walk, Donnington Walk.
