Notice is hereby given that the Bath and North East Somerset Council in pursuance of the provisions of section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 intends to make an order the effect of which will be to close temporarily to vehicles in that length of the A36 Rossiter Road, Bath from its junction with St James Viaduct / Claverton Street / Wells Road / Lower Bristol Road for a distance of approximately 60 metres along Rossiter Road in an eastwards direction.



This order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the roads consequent upon Section 81 manhole cover repairs in the carriageway and will be operative from Sunday 11th February 2018 for a maximum period of one week. However, the restrictions may not be effected for the whole of the period but it is anticipated that the roads will only be restricted as and when traffic signs are in position and only for so long as is necessary to execute the works which it is anticipated will be for 1 day between the hours of 09:00hrs – 16:00hrs.
