Pre Driver Education

Arrive Alive

Arrive Alive is a free Road Safety Presentation to Schools, Youth Groups, Colleges and Universities. This pre driver package addresses the high incidence of young drivers involved in vehicle crashes in the 16-25 year age range.

The Pre Driver education programme is delivered by a current driving examiner, and covers the following topics:

  • Preparing for your Test

  • The Theory and Practical Test

  • The Pass Plus Scheme 

  • The New Driver's Act

  • Vulnerable Road Users

  • Speed Kills

  • Anticipation and Hazard Awareness

  • Drink and Drugs

The session lasts around 40 minutes but can be tailored to suit requirements. Additionally, there is a new theory video and discussion of about 30 minutes.

The Impact Roadshow Pack


The Impact Roadshow Pack was set up by Avon and Somerset Constabulary with the aims of diverting young people away from vehicle-related crime, and to assist the police when educating people about the dangers of stealing cars and driving at high speeds. It is aimed at Schools, Youth Groups, Colleges/Universities, and Youth Offenders Institutions.
