Please note that the majority of standard lighting faults will be attended within 5 working days. Any faults caused by cable damage or power failure may take longer to repair and may require attendance by Western Power Distribution.

Reporting a general fault

The Street Lighting Department maintains the following items:

  • Street Lighting
  • Illuminated Street Signs
  • Illuminated Bollards
  • Central Island Columns (generally found between Illuminated Bollards)
  • Flashing School Crossing Patrol Signs (Wig Wags)
  • Zebra Crossings

Reporting an emergency

To report an emergency (such as an item of illuminated street furniture in a dangerous condition) please telephone Council Connect on 01225 39 40 41 (choose option 9).
