Sporting Participation

The percentage of the adult population in Bath & North East Somerset participating in 3 x 30 mins of moderate intensity exercise per week between October 2009 and October 2011 is 24.9%

This is compared to an average of 23.35% across the 12 Unitary Authorities in the West of England Sports Trust area.

This is an increase of 1.0% since October 2005-October 2006 when 23.9% of adults were participating in 3 x 30 mins of moderate intensity exercise per week.
