Our local sports clubs provide a vital community service that is also an education service, a physical fitness service and a social service, put simply they offer one of the best local opportunities for many people to get together, get involved and have fun.

The Sport and Active Lifestyles Team is keen that the contribution of these local sports clubs doesn’t get overlooked and in Bath & North East Somerset there are now over 150 sports clubs offering you a choice of activities to get fit, stay fit and succeed at your chosen level.

A club for all - finding a club

The choice of sports and activities is vast too and with over 20 types of sports there are not only opportunities to take part in the more typical sports but have you ever thought of Aikido (martial arts), diving, rowing, cycling or even long distance walking?

There are also details of clubs that can cater for people with disabilities.

To find a club, visit the Get Active Wesport website or the local inclusive club finder Sportsrush.
